Job Description with Roles & Responsibilities:
JD for AIX

• Schedule, and set up batch jobs.
• Do Standard changes as per client requirement.
• Maintenance and support of OS
• Patch management, upgrades and important bug fixes.
• Manage system security at OS level
• Scripting for system jobs and housekeeping of OS logs.
• Manage Performance Trend Analysis and Reporting
• Create and maintain necessary documentation
• Skillset: AIX ADMIN/Solaris

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

• Managing and maintaining the Oracle SPARC Solaris Servers
• Package Management of the Oracle Solaris 11 OS
• ZFS File System Management
• Creating, monitoring and threshold profiles of the managed servers
• Generating periodic performance reports for the managed servers
• Creating and maintain the users on the Oracle Solaris Server
•  Managing Backup & Recovery through DELL EMC Networker
