Job Description with Roles & Responsibilities: 

Technical activities including hardware/OS/application implementation, upgrades and support.

· Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting of VMWare, vRA, vROPS, vSAN infrastructure

· Review and recommend VMWare server & software for enterprise infrastructure

· Provide system performance and tuning as well as root cause determination in the event of failures.

· Produce and present documentation, training and standard operating procedures.

· Handle system backup and restore procedures and ensure zero failure of backup and restorations.

· Assisting with calls and escalated issues for L1, L2.

· Provide system performance and tuning as well as root cause determination in the event of failure

· Knowledge of security policies and procedures.

· Ability to effectively communicate with customers on all levels

· Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence effectively e.g. system outages which impact customers and service levels

· Analysis of log files and taking appropriate actions

· Service improvement Plan & Continual Service Improvement Planning and

· Updation and maintenance of Availability, Capacity management

· Risk Analysis and providing the mitigation plan

· Planning and execution of DR Drills based on availability of DR setup and recovery procedures

· Responsible for Incident / Problem / Change management

· Automations using vRA, vROPS to improve day to day operations

· Maintaining and updation of Infra AS IS / Infra Documents
