Job Description with Roles & Responsibilities: 

n \\r\\nOperational Support for AIX to Solaris Migration\\r\\nteam during migration.

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n  Perform Monitoring for AIX, Solaris, Linux Servers which includes

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n  File system size, running processes, ,

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n  Errors checking and hardware resources utilization

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n  Taking backup as per customer policy.

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n  Managing logs (failed login, audit log etc)

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n  LVM management

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n  Managing paging space

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n  Managing LPAR.

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n  Create, modify and delete users and user properties and network shares

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n  NFS, NIS,  group policy

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n  Restore server operating system in the event of a crash

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n  Resolve server problems like system hang, hard disk crash, etc.

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n  Create new file systems and correct file system inconsistencies as and\\r\\nwhen required

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n  Perform periodic schedule maintenance activity including, if required,\\r\\nrestart of the systems

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nVolume management, OS troubleshooting, Naming\\r\\nServices & Platform Hardening

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nSystem Administration task management &\\r\\nconfiguration.

\\r\\n\\r\\nOperational Support for DR\\r\\nDrill (twice in a year)
Skillset:  Solaris Admin with 2-3 years expirence
