Job Description with Roles & Responsibilities:  \\r\\n \\r\\n \\r\\n \\r\\n
\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Install\\r\\n desktop OS, messaging client, applications such as Adobe Acrobat, WinZip, WinRAR,\\r\\n as per Client’s software deployment policy, and add or remove accessories or\\r\\n mobile devices and configure PCs

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Configure\\r\\n the desktops using tools shared by customer.

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Troubleshoot\\r\\n and resolve deskside incidents

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Manage\\r\\n disk and folder sharing, and permission settings on desktops

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Assist\\r\\n users in accessing applications

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Vendor\\r\\n co-ordination in terms of Call logging, tracking and closure for OEM calls\\r\\n pertain to hardware, software.

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Troubleshooting desktop\\r\\n / laptop OS\\r\\n issues.

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Support for standard\\r\\n software issues

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Isolate\\r\\n system issues;\\r\\n diagnose standard software issues and report hardware issues to\\r\\n respective Vendors.

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Installation / re-installation / configuration of desktops/laptops

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Configure\\r\\n  desktop\\r\\n  and  laptop  as  per\\r\\n  the  desktop/laptop\\r\\n  standardization\\r\\n  policies\\r\\n  of\\r\\n Client.

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Installation / re-installation /\\r\\n configuration of in-scope client software / applications

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Installation / configuration\\r\\n of e-mail clients

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Troubleshooting e-mail client related\\r\\n issues

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Troubleshooting issues related  to\\r\\n  standard  office  software’s  (MS  Office\\r\\n  Word,\\r\\n  Xls,\\r\\n PowerPoint etc.) and internet client

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Support for local\\r\\n area network issues\\r\\n (LAN), DHCP client

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Install antivirus software and check virus\\r\\n definition auto updates

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Install\\r\\n approved patches onto desktops / laptops.

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n MBAM\\r\\n Client Installation

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Change\\r\\n BitLocker Password on client machine

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Hide\\r\\n Default BitLocker Encryption Icon in Control Panel

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Keep\\r\\n track of IT inventory (Maintain information like configuration details,\\r\\n serial number, asset code, warranty and AMC status)

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Track\\r\\n and update all machine movements

\\r\\n

n \\r\\n Carrying out annual asset verification for all the in-scope assets once a year.

\\r\\n

n  VIP Support services with Apple\\r\\n skills, Knowledge of MAC OS installation & troubleshooting

\\r\\n

 

\\r\\n

Deliverables: Daily / weekly / monthly Call reports

\\r\\n

Measurement Method: Call reports from the tool

\\r\\n

 

\\r\\n


Skillset: 

n  Install desktop OS, messaging client, applications such as Adobe Acrobat, WinZip, WinRAR, as per Client’s software deployment policy, and add or remove accessories or mobile devices and configure PCs

n  Configure the desktops using tools shared by customer.

n  Troubleshoot and resolve deskside incidents

n  Manage disk and folder sharing, and permission settings on desktops

n  Assist users in accessing applications

n  Vendor co-ordination in terms of Call logging, tracking and closure for OEM calls pertain to hardware, software.

n  Troubleshooting desktop / laptop OS issues.

n  Support for standard software issues

n  Isolate system issues; diagnose standard software issues and report hardware issues to respective Vendors.

n  Installation / re-installation / configuration of desktops/laptops

n  Configure  desktop  and  laptop  as  per  the  desktop/laptop  standardization  policies  of Client.

n  Installation / re-installation / configuration of in-scope client software / applications

n  Installation / configuration of e-mail clients

n  Troubleshooting e-mail client related issues

n  Troubleshooting issues related  to  standard  office  software’s  (MS  Office  Word,  Xls, PowerPoint etc.) and internet client

n  Support for local area network issues (LAN), DHCP client
