Job Description with Roles & Responsibilities: 

n \\r\\nInstall desktop OS, messaging client,\\r\\napplications such as Adobe Acrobat, WinZip, WinRAR, as per Client’s software\\r\\ndeployment policy, and add or remove accessories or mobile devices and\\r\\nconfigure PCs

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nConfigure the desktops using tools shared by\\r\\ncustomer.

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nTroubleshoot and resolve deskside incidents

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nManage disk and folder sharing, and permission\\r\\nsettings on desktops

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nAssist users in accessing applications

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nVendor co-ordination in terms of Call logging,\\r\\ntracking and closure for OEM calls pertain to hardware, software.

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nTroubleshooting desktop / laptop OS issues.

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nSupport for standard software\\r\\nissues

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nIsolate system issues;\\r\\ndiagnose standard software\\r\\nissues and report hardware issues to\\r\\nrespective Vendors.

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nInstallation / re-installation / configuration of desktops/laptops

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nConfigure\\r\\n desktop  and\\r\\n laptop  as  per  the  desktop/laptop  standardization  policies\\r\\n of Client.

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nInstallation / re-installation\\r\\n/ configuration of in-scope client software\\r\\n/ applications

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nInstallation /\\r\\nconfiguration of\\r\\ne-mail clients

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nTroubleshooting e-mail client related issues

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nTroubleshooting\\r\\nissues related  to  standard\\r\\n office  software’s  (MS\\r\\n Office  Word,\\r\\n Xls, PowerPoint etc.) and internet client

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nSupport for local area network issues (LAN), DHCP client

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nInstall antivirus software and check virus definition auto updates

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nInstall approved patches onto desktops / laptops.

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nMBAM Client Installation

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nChange BitLocker Password on client machine

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nHide Default BitLocker Encryption Icon in\\r\\nControl Panel

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nKeep track of IT inventory (Maintain information\\r\\nlike configuration details, serial number, asset code, warranty and AMC status)

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nTrack and update all machine movements

\\r\\n\\r\\n

n \\r\\nCarrying out annual asset verification for all the in-scope assets once a year.

\\r\\n\\r\\n

Deliverables: Daily / weekly / monthly Call reports
