â€¢ Installing the operating system from AEGONLIFE approved source â€¢ Applying vendor supplied operating system, application patches and updates â€¢ Removing or disabling of unnecessary system services or drivers â€¢ Setting security parameters, file protections and enabling audit logging â€¢ Disabling or changing the password of default accounts etc. â€¢ Server Hardening as per AEGONLIFE hardening standards. â€¢ The Troubleshooting of servers will be enabled by the performance metrics being monitored by the SNAPPiMON/ IMC NOC Tivoli tool. They provide indicators of what might be the probable issue while troubleshooting the problem. The challenge lies in isolating the issue to a component and then working on it to resolve. â€¢ Carrying out System state, Data drive and database backup with the help of onsite team deployed at customer premises. â€¢ Restoring the backup on need basis â€¢ Automated ticket will be generated for any threshold breach event occurred for monitored KPI for devices in addition to manual ticket generation for faults reported. IBM team will analyze alerts in case of multiple occurrence and follow problem management process for closure.
