Primary Technology Jenkins Please specify if others Extensive experience in DevOps life cycle and tools Responsibilities: Technical � You will be charged with architecting, designing, developing, and supporting the most visible Internet-scale infrastructure. o Principal responsibility for release and deployment strategy and execution. o Manage release and deployment cycles for highly available, scalable production infrastructure. o Work with engineering leadership to drive no downtime release strategy. o Ensure development of the operational procedures and monitoring platform and services. o Drive monitoring & alert tooling to detect, triage and resolve issues quickly. o Influence and create standards and methods for deployment of large-scale distributed systems. o Establish practices to respond to issues when they occur and build automation to prevent problem recurrence. � Experience in working in public and/or private cloud infrastructure � desirable OR virtualized environment o Managing the infrastructure powering at a massive scale requires you to master (eg: AWS) cloud architectures, designing effective high availability network topologies, as well as, having a mastery of hardware and software load balancers. You will apply deep understanding of clustering techniques to SQL and NoSQL storage and design and implement effective disaster recovery strategies. � Apply deep knowledge of monitoring tools, and NOC operations to manage 24/7 NOC team. o Ownership of the availability and scalability of all systems within scope irrespective of who created/modified it. Account � Accountable for developing and executing strategy to meet and exceed planned revenue and gross margin targets � Collaborate with Sales and marketing team to develop and execute plans for revenue generation � Understand in depth the customer's business and priorities � Ensure delivery of contractual commitments adherence to the project management office�s delivery and risk mitigation standards; drive compliance with operational aspects of the IT service practice � Work with the Onsite counterpart(Program Manager) in ensuring delivery success � First level of escalation point for Client for any delivery and contractual commitments � Identify and deliver value added services to help meet customer goals and manage customer expectations � Maintain high level of communication and connect with the customer at all levels of management including the Senior Leadership team (CXO level) � Supervise and mentor associate program managers and/or project managers who run multi-resource projects from inception to conclusion while maintaining high customer satisfaction � Plan capacity and develop talent and leadership pipeline to support to grow the account and organization � Manage revenue growth, EBITDA growth and margin for the account � Responsible for the ultimate success and satisfaction of internal and external customers and partners by communicating and working collaboratively with project teams, customers, legal and sales functions and subject matter experts to achieve customer and UST objectives � Proactively identify and resolve issues that impact customer satisfaction. Organization success or employee engagement Competencies: Technical � IT services industry experience of 12 years or more with at least o 10 years hands on experience with operations of mission critical software infrastructure. o 4 years with project leadership of DevOps engagements including 2 years of client facing role o 2 years of program management experience including o 5+ years hands on experience with managing cloud infrastructure, with preference for AWS. � Experience managing and collaborating large, geographically distributed and multi-faceted DevOps teams including definition of processes, metrics, tools selection and automation � Experience maintaining highly available, scalable systems. � Deliver key DevOps and NOC initiatives including planning and team organization and execution. � Expert in Ops Management tools and have a deep understanding of change control protocols and procedures. � Ensure standardized, mature change management and release management processes and automate deployment and maintenance procedures using industry-standard scripting languages. � Expertise with deployment tools like Puppet, Chef. � Proficient in building, deploying, troubleshooting and maintaining web and application servers. � Proven success building and maintaining backup and/or disaster recovery infrastructure. � Experience deploying and managing production monitoring systems. � Proficient in one or more of - Shell, Ruby, Python. � Implement automated infrastructure testing. � Systematic problem solving approach, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive. � Configure and tune an enterprise monitoring and instrumentation system(s) to efficiently detect existing issues and predict future issues based on trends. � Orchestrate the provisioning, load balancing, dynamic configuration/re-configuration, monitoring and spend optimization of servers across cloud providers, data centers, availability zones. � Performance analysis and capacity planning � maintaining performance models on all applications and systems. � Improve the performance, security, redundancy and availability of systems. � Maintaining database security and controlling permissions. � Monitoring database performance. � Configuration Management building blocks using tools such as Chef or Puppet. � Rapid response, trouble-shoot, and triage of production issues. � Develop a comprehensive infrastructure policy. � Apply information security best practices and respond to security events. � Be very comfortable in the command line, writing scripts, etc. � Analyze processes, recommend improvements, and write process documentation. � Experience in Enterprise/Scaled agile development. Account � IT services industry experience of 12 years or more with at least o 1 year with Sales, Business Development (BD). � Evidence superior Software Engineering skills � Proven ability to target and reach high standards � Stellar verbal/written communication, organization and interpersonal skills and demonstrated effectiveness in a customer facing role � Should have demonstrated people management skills having managed, mentored and developed a team of 50 members or more. � Good customer testimonials as a project/program manager � Industry accredited Project management certification is good to have. CSM or other Agile practice certifications desirable. � Should have cross cultural experience � Effectively Partner and collaborate with different functions � Should have managed a project/program of 2.5 million or more for a year � Should have managed an incremental growth of 500K or more in a year � Growing, technology-driven company experience a plus.
